KORU

At the main entrance to our school, students, parents, staff and visitors are greeted by three beautifully crafted stone koru. With great generosity, aroha and skill, the koru were created by two parents of the school, Paula Archibald and Paula Pain.

The koru is a key symbol within our school. Our logo and mission statement come to life and are expressed within the koru.

On Thursday 6 November 2008 as part of our 'Celebration Day' our koru were blessed by local kaumatua Hira Royal and Princess Monga.
