SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR – WAITOHU SCHOOL LIBRARY – TUESDAY 20 – THURSDAY 22 MAY
To encourage reading, our school is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair from Tuesday 20 May – Thursday 22 May. We have coordinated this to coincide with our parent-teacher interviews to make it easy for you to attend this special reading event. You will find a wonderful variety of books and other products at the fair. All Book Fair purchases benefit our school as we receive a portion of the sales to buy new books for our library. You are welcome to purchase books or just come in for a look on:

NGĀ MANU NATURE RESERVE WINTER SPEAKER SERIES 2025Ngā Manu Nature Reserve is hosting their much-loved Winter Speaker Series, proudly supported by the Royal Society, returns this Wednesday 21st May. We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Danielle Shanahan, CEO of Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne, who will open the series with a powerful talk titled: Zealandia: The Sanctuary That Changed a Nation Danielle will share how regenerative tourism and community action have helped reverse biodiversity loss in Wellington, and what that means for people’s health, wellbeing, and our planet’s future.
